In this blog I introduce the what the ways of God are.
Ever tried figuring out how God works and ended up more confused than when you started reading the instructions for IKEA furniture?
Yeah… welcome to the club.

The Bible keeps using this phrase: “the ways of God.”
And it’s not just poetic fluff. It’s basically saying, “this is how God operates.” His character. His decisions. His whole… divine pattern of life.
Isaiah puts it like this: “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord (Isaiah 55:8–9 NKJV).
Which is comforting… and mildly terrifying if you’ve just tried to tell God your plan for the next five years.
Then Psalm 103:7 says, “He made known His ways to Moses, His acts to the children of Israel” (NKJV). In other words, some people saw what God did… but Moses got a glimpse of how He actually thinks.
That’s the difference between watching someone cook and actually knowing their secret recipe.

In the Old Testament, God’s ways show up through Israel’s story, the law, and the prophets. Lots of lessons. Plenty of “oh wow, don’t do that again” moments.
Then Jesus shows up. And suddenly it clicks. Because Jesus doesn’t just show God’s ways — He is God’s ways in human form. Same heart. Same character. Same priorities. “He who has seen Me has seen the Father” (John 14:9 NKJV).
So what are the ways of God? Simple. It’s how God thinks, loves, leads, and saves — perfectly revealed in Christ.
And honestly… once you’ve seen Jesus, you realise God’s “mysterious ways” aren’t random at all. They’re just love wearing flesh.
But understanding the ways of God is not as simple of reading the Bible. It comes by revelation.
