Bishop Michael occasionally references Smith Wigglesworth in his sermons and has read books that recount the miracle stories from Wigglesworth’s life, especially during his early days as a Christian.
Bishop Michael Reid, though perhaps lesser known than Wigglesworth today, had a global ministry marked by miracles. Unlike Wigglesworth, Bishop Reid was a Pastor. Thousands came to Peniel Pentecostal Church in the UK, drawn by the tangible presence and power of God. His bold slogan, “No miracles, no Jesus,” challenged the religious status quo.
Much like Wigglesworth, Bishop Reid’s life was filled with supernatural testimonies. He was a pastor’s pastor and a bishop’s bishop—a modern-day apostle of Jesus Christ. His passing in 2023 was a significant loss to the Body of Christ.
