I was deeply saddened not to have been invited to Bishop Reid’s funeral. No distance would have kept me from being there.
Bishop Reid and his wife had shared with my wife and me what they believed to be God’s will regarding events following their passing—a message I have recorded in his biography, I'm Alive.

Divine Timing in Ministry
God has a way of timing everything to perfection.
God told me to pause my ministry work until after Bishop Reid passed away. Years later, just before he died, I felt God telling me to start preaching again, even though I did not know how unwell he was. The timing was amazing and fits with other important moments in my ministry.
