Personal Reflections on Bishop Michael Reid

I was deeply saddened not to have been invited to Bishop Reid’s funeral. No distance would have kept me from being there.

Bishop Reid and his wife had shared with my wife and I what they believed to be God’s will regarding events following their passing—a message I have recorded in his biography, I'm Alive.

A Year of Significant Losses in Ministry

2023 saw the passing of several influential figures in ministry:

⚪ Bishop Carlton Pearson (2023)

⚪ Revd Trevor Dearing (February 24th, 2023, aged 89)

Divine Timing in Ministry

God has a way of timing everything to perfection. My path crossing with Bishop Reid was divine timing.

God told me to pause my ministry work until after Bishop Reid passed away. Years later, just before he died, I felt God telling me to start preaching again, even though I did not know how unwell he was. The timing was amazing and fits with other important moments in my ministry including:

*  Reconnecting with my first Pastor's wife after decades

* The passing of multiple ministers connected to me and/or Bishop Reid.

His story continues.

The Continuing Legacy of Bishop Michael Reid

Bishop Michael Reid's influence extends beyond his earthly life. His teachings, mentorship, and the lives he touched continue to shape the Charismatic Ministry landscape.

As I remember his contributions, I look forward to seeing how his life’s work will impact Christendom for years. Mark my words, it will.

I plan to share his ministry as widely as possible and continue what he started.
